Children
Nursery
Every Sunday & Wednesday
Newborns to age 2 are cared for by our experienced Nursery Coordinator Amy Henry and a group of caring volunteers. Our nursery is bright and welcoming, with all the baby equipment needed for infants, along with toys and developmental activities to help toddlers play and learn. The Nursery is open every Sunday and Wednesday during church activities.
Sunday School
9:15am-10:15 am
Children need stability and repetition to help them learn. Our dedicated teachers have years of experience working with this age group. Each Sunday, learn about God through stories, crafts and play.
Preschool Faith Fun
11:00 am-11:30 am
Our children start with their families in worship, then head out after the children’s sermon to the Preschool Faith and Fun Class. This class is designed for children from 2-5 years old to take part in play, and exploration. Our awesome teachers lead these young ones in Bible stories, songs, and a variety of activities.
Children are always welcome to stay in worship with the parents for the whole service!
Faith Quest
Faith Quest Children's Church is an energy-filled, creative way for school age children to hear and understand God's Word. Each Sunday (except for the 1st Sunday of the month) children from kindergarten through 3rd grade are led from the sanctuary, following the scripture reading to the Idea Lab for worship and intentional age appropriate learning.
*The first Sunday of each month, Heritage celebrates the Lord's Supper(Communion). There is no Faith Quest on this Sunday. If you'd like more information on discussing Communion with your child, please contact Pastor Skye Skye@heritageloves.com
Children’s Choirs
Each Wednesday evening our children are guided in a fun time of music. We are lucky to have multiple professional musicians that volunteer time and energy to our music ministry to children. Our prayer is that kids learn the joy of singing and playing praise to God!
Idea Lab
This multi-use room is often filled with children laughing, dancing, and creating during our weekly programs. Throughout the week our Heritage Learning Center uses this room to facilitate one-on-one teaching times with children. At other times it is used for support groups, meetings, and small seminars. What comes out of the room are ideas! This is a safe place to share, create, and imagine
